Adidas have been operating within the sportswear market for the greatest part of 100 years. Their founder, Adi Dassler, an avid sports fan, but also a manufacturer of shoes, wanted to create a training shoe that could enhance the prowess of the wearer, but which could also protect the feet from the injuries inherent in sports.
